The Foundation for Building Sustainable Communities was a vendor at Seedy Saturday held on February 16th, 2013.  The focus of our display was the Canadian Victory Garden Project, a component of the Foundation’s local food strategy.  The Project will be launched on April 22nd, 2013.

This is an exciting project that include: Seeding A New Generation Project; Plant a Row Grow A Row; Community Greenhousing; Community Teaching Gardens; Grow to Give and a Halloween Fall Festival.

The Harlem Shake was prompted by Jason Dasti as a way to have fun and engage the youth at the event.  Many adults (after much encouragement) also participated.  What fun.

The Media called us the Purple Cow at the Show.  Yeah!
