The day will Day-long Green Event with Co-Sponsors DotGreen and Neustar, a chance to learn about green efforts of the ICANN host city, Toronto.  We will begin the day with a Ferry Ride to the Toronto Islands “Ward’s Island” where we will have a brief ecological tour and learn about the islands conservation efforts, participate in a native tree planting and then enjoy an organic picnic lunch.  We’ll then return by ferry to the mainland where we’ll depart for Evergreen Brick Works, a “community environmental center that inspires and equips visitors to live, work and play more sustainably”.  We’ll do a guided green tour of the Brick Works, and visit the current exhibit “MOVE: The Transportation Expo” which is a multi-sensory tour of transportation and an “exploration of innovative ideas and technologies needed to build and connect our communities in efficient and sustainable ways.”  These unique opportunities will show hi-lights of Toronto and their efforts toward a greener city.

The day is organized with a little assistance from fbsc.
